The Board met for the 43rd time in Jabiru on 20 November 2024. A majority of the Board were present in person and were assisted by CEO Dr Emma Young, translator Nonika Hardy, Senior Governance and Leasing Officer Jessica Wright, interpreter Dr Murray Garde and minute taker Maxine Campbell.

The Board:

  • extended the existing licences of CDC (previously Buslink); Djabulukgu Association Inc; Jabiru Golf Club; Richard Mitchell; the Northern Land Council; Telstra; the Northern Territory Government; the Uniting Church; Warnbi Aboriginal Corporation; Gundjeihmi Aboriginal Corporation and Energy Resources of Australia for a further 12 months until 31 December 2025, but increased the licence fees of Telstra, Djabulukgu, the NTG and the NLC until rectification works were complete.
  • agreed to the installation of a low-voltage electric fence at the solar farm to deter dingoes; and
  • agreed to an NTG request to waive the requirement to construct an Outdoor Living Area at one residential property due to the small size of the lot.
