The Board met for the 41st time on the 5th of September 2024 in Jabiru. All Board members were present. The Board was assisted by CEO Dr Emma Young, interpreter Dr Murray Garde, Senior Governance and Leasing Officer Jessica Wright, and minute taker Maxine Campbell.
The Board:
- responded to a submission from Jabiru Property Services concerning aspects of the Jabiru Masterplan Development Management Framework (JMDMF), and GACJT’s requirement for Outdoor Living Areas (OLAs) for all housing. The Board agreed to consider any variations to the JMDMF and the OLA requirement on a case by case basis.
- considered a submission from the West Arnhem Regional Council concerning the viability of its childcare facility and agreed to reduce the sublease fees payable for 5 years.
- approved a request from Parks Australia for new fencing and other outdoor structures for all Parks staff residential properties in Jabiru, with some minor variations.
- agreed to the installation of a new sewer line in Jabiru.
